Security of Personal Information
The security of personal information about you is our priority.  While we strive to take reasonable measures to protect the privacy of users, this Privacy Policy is not a contract and does not create any legal rights or obligations.

Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience.  When you register with us, you submit basic information about yourself such as your name and email address.  You may want to provide more information such as age, gender, and income range.  In order to assist our members to connect with each other, we may feature members' profiles in our newsletters that we send out from time to time.

Changing Your Profile
You can review and change your profile at any time.  Like many other social networking sites, your profile can be viewed by other users.  Hence, we encourage users to think carefully about what personal information they disclose on their profiles.

Tell-A-Friend
If users elect to use our referral service for informing a friend about our sites and services, we may ask them for the friend's name and e-mail address.  Wasuka may store and use this information to send the friend an invitation. This information may also be used to provide information about our company and related products and services. The friend may contact us as specified in the tell-a-friend message to request that no further communications be sent.

Cookies
In order to provide a better service, we may use “cookies.” A cookie is a small piece of information that a Web site stores on your Web browser that can later be retrieved and read only by the same site. We use cookies for administrative purposes and to enhance your online experience. For example, we may use cookies to track the number of visitors to our site or to enable us to present rotating information to you at our site. You can set up your Web browser to inform you when cookies are set or to prevent cookies from being set.

Our web servers may identify the domain names and IP addresses of visitors, where applicable, but this is not captured as personally identifiable information.

How we use the Information
We may use the information to analyze site usage and to customize our website’s contents and services.

We may also share the information with third-party service providers such as advertisers.  We may also provide the information to other third parties for the purpose of providing you with services, information or promotional opportunities that may be of interest to you.

Emails
By default, we will send you replies to the events you have posted. We will also email comments/ratings posted by other users on your journals.

(In the future, you will have full control over what emails you want to receive.  We are still working on this!)

Law Enforcement/Legal Processes
Wasuka may disclose personal information if required to do so by law, court order, subpoena or other legal process, as requested by a governmental or law enforcement authority, or when we believe in good faith that it is in the interests of security.

Other Sites
While we make every effort to protect your information on our website, we do not control the policies of other sites (including those we may link to).  We have no control over other sites' privacy policies or use of any personal information you or others may share with them.  Please do not assume that our Privacy Policy covers those other sites.

Phishing
WE DO NOT SEND EMAILS ASKING YOU TO PROVIDE OR CONFIRM SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION OR YOUR USERNAME OR PASSWORD! If you receive such email communication, please forward it us, and then immediately delete the fraudulent email from your computer.

Effective Date
From time to time, we may change this Internet Privacy Policy. The effective date of this policy, as stated above, indicates the last time this policy was revised or materially changed. Checking the effective date allows you to determine whether there have been changes since the last time you reviewed the policy. We may change this statement from time to time, so please check periodically.
